Georgia Democrats swept the state’s constitutional offices Tuesday, the Atlanta Journal-Constitution reported, adding a broad downballot breakthrough to Keisha Lance Bottoms’ victory for governor and Jon Ossoff’s reelection to the U.S. Senate.

The Associated Press called the governor’s race for Keisha Lance Bottoms over Rick Jackson and the Senate race for Ossoff over Mike Collins. Those victories put Democrats in two of the state’s most visible offices as downballot returns continued to arrive. AP governor coverage · AP Senate coverage

Democrats also won a three-seat majority on the five-member Public Service Commission, the Atlanta Journal-Constitution reported, with victories for Peter Hubbard and Shelia Edwards. The newspaper reported wins for Tanya Miller for attorney general, Keisha Sean Waites for insurance commissioner and Nikki Porcher for labor commissioner, attributing Porcher’s result to AP.
